The wind is blowing gently off what appears to be an endless body of water that stretches to the horizon. You walk past the white, sandy beach where a bon fire is burning and hear laughter as friends share drinks and stories. The twinkling lights, music, and dancing beckons you towards a Tiki bar where a bartender is serving up fizzy drinks and fun cocktails. You stop. You soak in this moment. You smile as you run towards the dance floor and realize: this is my wedding day. Beauty abounds at Shangri-La no matter the day or season, but we like to think that the our sunsets are second to none. As the sun begins to slowly set it gives way to a kaleidoscope of orange, red, and pink hues that are cast upon the lake. Shangri-La transforms into something you would find only in a fairy tale.
